At least 40 people have been killed in multiple attacks in Paris, including one near a stadium where a soccer match was underway and another at a concert hall where a hostage situation is ongoing, French police said.
Fifteen of the victims have been killed at the Bataclan concert hall in eastern Paris, where at least 100 hostages are believed to have been taken.
Meanwhile, two explosions close to a stadium have reportedly killed three others and a gunman has attacked a restaurant in Paris with what is said to be a semi-automatic weapon.
France's president Hollande has declared a state of emergency for all of France and has closed the borders.
Mr Hollande was at the Stade de France Stadium, where France and Germany were playing a football match, near where two explosions were heard.
