2 clove garlic, minced |

1⁄2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground |
2 tbsp (up to 3) lemon juice |
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped |
1 red pepper flakes, to taste (optional) |
2 (6 oz each) salmon fillet |
- In a medium glass baking dish, mix together garlic, light olive oil, basil, sea salt, black pepper, lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes, if using. Add salmon fillets, turn to coat, and cover baking dish with foil. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, turning occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bake salmon, covered, for 25 to 35 minutes or until easily flaked with a fork
