    IMT Systems Administrator
    Reporting Line: IMT Section Leader
    Location: BUZWAGI GOLD MINE; Kahama District; Shinyanga Region.
    Work Schedule: 6 weeks on; 3 weeks off

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_
    • Ensure the efficient running of the IT Service Desk and that calls are addressed in timely manner
    • Monitoring the network, servers and communication systems and troubleshoot problems in order to maintain the highest level of system availability
    • Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner that complies with company and legislated requirements
    Transferring knowledge to other employees to enable smooth handovers and improved technical base within the department thus leading to consistent level of IT services delivered to the company.
    Provide coverage for support calls.
    Provide incident management as per the IT service delivery framework.
    Provide hardware and software support.
    Provide 1st and 2nd level network administration support to the Buzwagi Operations.
    Add users to the network as necessary.
    To monitoring data backup on daily basis.
    Archive unused data onto tapes as required.
    Recover data from backup and archive tapes as required.
    Ensure that all hardware is operational.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:-
    Education Requirements:
    • Microsoft Certified Professional
    • Intermediate skills in computer repairs
    • Good knowledge of computer network infrastructure
    Experience Requirements:
    • A Minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience IT experience, computer repairs and support.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and willing to support all users.
    • Confident and dedicated with passion for computers.
    • Self-starter, able to work and plan daily tasks with minimal supervision. •
    • Performance Orientation; strongly motivated, leads by example and maintains a high work standard.
    • Confident and outgoing, Honest, Loyal & Reliable Acts with Integrity.
