    PBZ Bank has vacant positions which need to be filled by suitable qualified Tanzanians. The applicant should apply by virtue of the post advertised and station indicated here in. Particulars related to the positions are as follows:

    1.0 Teller (4) (2 Unguja & 2 Pemba)
    1.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)
    1.2 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    1. A bachelor Degree in Banking, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Banking, Public Administration or equivalent qualifications.
    2. Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.
    4. Experience of at least 2 years in teller post.

    1.3 MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Receiving cash from and pay cash to customers as per bank procedures.
    2. Daily balancing cash account after day's work.
    3. Executing Teller's duties with speed and accuracy.
    4. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the senior officer.
     
    Bank Operations Officer (1 Unguja)
    2.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)
    2.2 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Degree in Banking, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Banking, Public Administration or equivalent qualifications.
    2. Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.
    4 .. Experience of at least 2 years in the Banking industry
    2.3 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Checking entries in registers, completing forms, documents, journals and ledgers relating to customer accounts, in-house accounts and other accounts.
    2. Ensuring correctness in posting transactions into the ledgers or other accounts accurately.
    3. Attend to customers queries as required.
    4. Perform any other duties as may assigned from time to time by the senior officer.
     
    Customer Services Officer. (1 Pemba)
    3.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)
    3.2 REQURED QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Degree in Banking, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Banking, Public Administration or equivalent qualifications.
    2. Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.
    4. Experience of at least 2 years in the Customer service position.

    3.3 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Attending to customer enquiries promptly and courteously.
    2. Opening customer accounts as per bank's KYc.
    3. Receiving customers' cheques, other instruments and instructions and attend them accordingly.
    4. Attending customers' complains and make follow up for the prompt solution.
    5. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the senior officer.
     
    Legal Officer (1 Unguja)
    4.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)

    4.2 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. University degree in law majoring in Company and Commercial law.
    2. Ability to interpret legal and statutory documents.
    3. Practicing Advocate
    4. Computer literacy and applications in windows and other packages.
    5. Age should not be above 35 years.
    6. Experience of at least 2 years in the legal field.

    4.3 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Prepare legal contracts between the Bank and other parties.
    2. Verify correctness of information in loan agreements, securities and other legal documents before submission to Management.
    3. Assist in organizing Board of Directors, Management and other meetings according to the bank's procedures.
    4. To appear before the court on behalf of the Bank.
    5. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the senior officer.
     
    Customer Services Officer (Islamic Banking) 1 Post (Pemba)
     
    5.2 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)

    5.3 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Degree in Banking, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Banking, Public Administration, or equivalent qualifications.
    2. .Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.
    4. experience and knowledge in Islamic banking and Finance will be an added advantage.
    5. Experience of at least 2 years in the Customer service position.

    3.2 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Attending to customer enquiries promptly and courteously.
    2. Opening new customer accounts as per bank's KYc.
    3. Receiving customers' cheques, other instruments and instructions and attend them accordingly.
    4. Attending customers' complains and make follow up for the prompt solution.
    5. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the senior officer.
     
    Finance Officer (2 Unguja)
    6.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)

    6.2 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    1. Holder of Degree or Advanced Diploma in accountancy or equivalent qualifications obtained from recognized Institutions.
    2. CPA or equivalent certificates is an added advantage.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.

    6.3 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Preparing various payments as per instructions.
    2. Compiling and consolidating budget proposals from Head Office departments and Branches.
    3. Preparing periodic reports for submission to the management and BOT.
    4. Perform any other financial accounting related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the senior officer.
     
    Procurement Officer (1 Unguja)
    . 7.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)
    7.2 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: "
    1. Degree in Procurement and Chain Supply, or equivalent qualifications obtained from recognized Institutions.
    2. Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.
    4. Experience of at least 2 years in the Procurement position.

    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Ensuring efficient purchasing and stores management system is maintained in the bank.
    1. Handle all clearing and forwarding related matters.
    2. Assisting in the preparation of budget for the section.
    3. Plan, Manage and control inventories.
    4. Ensuring that the performance of stock control is sufficient and economic levels of stocks are maintained . 5. Perform any other financial accounting related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the senior officer.
     
    Marketing& Research Officer
    8.1 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. University degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration,
    Advanced Diploma in Banking, Public Administration or equivalent qualifications
    2. Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years
    4. Experience of at least 2 years in marketing field.

    8.2 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Preparing annual marketing plans and budget
    2. Undertaking market research in order to determine relevant products/services to clients and researching on potential areas for location of banking business
    3. Prepare periodic marketing implementation reports for Marketing Manager
    4. Assisting in implementing advertising and promotional campaign
    5. Assisting in reviewing performance of the existing Bank products
    6. Perform any other financial accounting related duties and responsibilities
    as may be assigned by the senior officer.
     
    Risk and Compliance Officer (1 Unguja)
    9.1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Three years contract (Renewable)
    9.2REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    1. A bachelor Degree in Risk Management, Banking, Finance, Accounting,
    Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
    2. Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
    3. Age should not be above 35 years.
    4. Experience of at least 2 years in Risk Management field.
    9.3 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Carrying out risk measurements and identifying, key risk exposures and early warning indicators.
    2. Follow up and analyze general market information, trends and best practice for incorporation in the Bank's risk management policies and framework:
    3. Preparing various reports including incidences and other Risk reports .
    • 4. Instituting internal benchmarks (parameters/limits) to evaluate and manage each of the risk indicators in the bank.
    S. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by 'the senior officer.
