JOB TITLE               :                       Shift Manager

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure operational excellence so as to provide quality service to customers.  The key focus will be the efficient deployment and oversight of the daily operations. The tasks will involve the allocation of resources to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources to achieve operational efficiency.

Experience:

• Fluent in English and Kiswahili both written and oral
• Experience in managing complex logistics.
• Proven track record in delivering results in a high pressure environment
• Strong operations experience.
• Extensive experience in managing people and teams within a dynamic environment
• Computer proficiency

Personal qualities:

• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Team player
• Highly energetic and self-driven individual
• Able to work effectively under pressure.
• Results oriented
• Must be excellent in planning and organizational skills
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Confident and hardworking.
• Good planner and organizer.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts as per operational requirements
